From 1st December, 2008, Home Reports were introduced in Scotland as a legal requirement for virtually all properties going on the market from that date. Althought HIPs (which were somewhat different in their nature) have been abolished in England, the Scottish Government have announced their present intention to retain Home Reports in Scotland and this expensive pre-requisite to putting your home on the market remains an unavoidable outlay north of the border. We are able to arrange these online and, if you are hoping to market your property from a specific date, it is essential that time is allowed for this to be arranged as no marketing can take place without the Report.
